Inspired by the faded glory of Old Havana in Cuba, Havana opened its doors September 1996 in one of Vancouver’s most diverse neighborhoods. Havana is a unique part of Vancouver's cultural landscape, as it houses a Restaurant, Theatre and Gallery, all under the same roof.
The Restaurant offers Nuevo Latino Cuisine and authentic Cuban cocktails in a funky, distressed, casual setting. Havana has a large well-heated all-weather award winning patio that is situated directly across from Grandview Park with a view of the city skyline and the Coastal Mountain Range.
Havana Gallery is a contemporary art gallery that showcases local and international artists of all disciplines. A new show opens every two weeks on Sunday at 4:00 pm and everyone is welcome to attend. Havana Gallery receives no government funding and is solely supported by the Havana Restaurant and sales of art. If you are interested in submitting your portfolio for possible show, please contact us at patrick@havanarestaurant.ca
Our 60-seat theatre venue showcases a wide variety of performances: local theatrical productions, poetry readings and musical events. The Theatre is fully equipped and staffed to accept most types of performance.
